Our Editorial Standards
Every guide on SolarInfoPath is researched using primary sources, IRS notices, FERC and CPUC rulings, state court filings, PACER records, UCC lien databases, utility interconnection records, and manufacturer specifications, rather than rewritten press releases or manufacturer marketing copy. Where we cite figures, we source them directly.
We update articles as prices, tax credit rules, and regulations change, so information you read today reflects 2026 conditions, not outdated data from years past.

SolarInfoPath is written and researched by Morgan Lee, Solar Legal Analyst, Policy Researcher, and Investigative Finance Writer, and the Lead Analyst & Founder of SolarInfoPath.
Morgan has 12+ years of experience in U.S. renewable energy law, IRS tax credit compliance, and solar litigation. His work specializes in solar contract disputes, injury and workers’ compensation claims, PACE financing issues, tax equity structures, ITC recapture rules, MACRS depreciation, and federal and state solar policy frameworks.
